This easily knitted dog cowl has been made in the Gryffindor house colors.

DESCRIPTION

The dog cowl is easy to make, with advanced beginner knitters in mind.

This cowl will be super cozy to wear in the cold weather.

Yarn

1 skein of chunky yarn I used Hayfield Super Chunky With Wool in shade 0053 – Hollyhocks (Yarn A).

Yarn in a coordinating colour (mustard) (Yarn B) for the stripes in the same yarn weight.

Yarn weight – Super bulky/super chunky/14 ply.

Needles

12.00mm (US 17) 16″ or 20″ circular knitting needles.

Level – Easy

This is an easy level knitting pattern and the techniques involved are the knit stitch, purl stitch, working with two colors, increasing and decreasing.

• SIZING

Dog’s neck circumference - XS 10–12 cm (4–4¾“) · S 12–14 cm (4¾–5½”) · M 14–16 cm (5½–6¼“) · L 16–18 cm (6¼–7”) · XL 18–20 cm (7–8”)
