For this shawl you will need 2 skeins of 4 ply/sock weight yarn. The shawl is worked from tip to tip and the pattern is written out row by row. It doesn’t have any complicated stitches and the picot edge is worked as you go so the whole shawl is worked in one piece. The resulting shawl is of generous size, elegant and drapes beautifully. Depending on the yarn you choose it could be perfect for cool summer evenings or even cold autumnal days.

Measurements: 168cm/66inch wingspan x 58cm/22 inches depth at the centre.

I used 3mm hook but I have a very loose gauge, so please pick the size of the hook that will match the gauge. I give more information regarding any pitfalls in the notes in the pattern.
