Guy the Phoenix
A phoenix is a mythical immortal bird that’s cyclically born again. This phoenix crochet pattern combines one natural colour for the beak and legs with a gradient of four colours for the body and plumage. Although traditionally associated with flames and fire, the design works well when made down any of the colour spectrums from the blues to the greens, pinks, purples or oranges.
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet bird kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy.
