Gwendolyn is a lovely little set for that precious skein of luxury yarn. Whether it’s a skein of hand spun cashmere or a scrumptious silk blend Gwendolyn shows it off and helps it go far.

The mitts take about 100 yards, the scarflette/cowl about 100 yards, and the larger scarf about 300.

Supplies
200 yards of sport weight yarn for Mitts & Scarflette.
400 yards of sport weight yarn for Mitts & Scarf.
Samples shown in Interlacements Beibi Seda, Jade Sapphire Angelwing, and Fyberspates Scrumptious Sport.
Size 3 knitting needles or size needed to get gauge. You’ll need either double points or circs for magic loop/2 circs for the mitts & single points or circs for the scarflette.
Size 4 knitting needles or one size larger than your other needles.

Sewing needle and thread
Buttons – 1 small button, about ½” or small enough to fit through the yarn over on the scarf and not pop out.
1 larger decorative button, about 1” or larger, could also be a knit flower or something similar.

Gauge
1 pattern repeat equals 1.25” wide slightly stretched on smaller needles
1 pattern repeat equals 1.5” wide slightly stretched on larger needles.
