The Gwenynen Cardi is knitted in slip stitch honeycomb - and without any purl stitches! The name ‘Gwenynen’ comes from the Welsh word for ‘bumblebee’. The cardigan is knitted in 5 separate pieces, which are sewn together at the end. It has a classic fit with around 10 cm/4 in positive ease.

LEVEL: Easy.

SIZES: XS, (S), M, (L) XL for chest size 71-76, (80-86), 91.5-96.5, (101.5–106.5), 111.5-117 cm / 28-30 (32-34), 36-48, (40-42), 44-46 in

GAUGE: 21 stitches/40 rows = 10x10 cm (4x4 in)

YOU’LL NEED:
• 450 (500), 500, (500) 550 g of ‘Snefnug’ from CaMaRose, or a similar yarn (100 g = 220 m)

• 5 mm (US 8) needles
• 4 mm (US 6) needles
• Approx. 9 buttons of your choice (optional)
• Tapestry needle
