Habitat Shawl is an easy, relaxed knit. It begins with a few stitches and is knit on the bias into a deep, asymmetrical triangle.

The fringe is optional but adds a nice detail. Match your fringe to the shawl or use an accent color as shown here.

The design features a beautiful leaf motif that is easy to knit and beautifully showcases the gorgeous hand dyed yarn.

The size is easily adjustable by working extra repeats of the main pattern.

This pattern contains both charts and written instructions for the lace pattern.

Sample shown: 74 inches (188 cm) wide by 34 inches (86 cm) deep.

Any fingering/sport weight yarn may be used.

Sample was knit using 2 skeins of Julie Asselin Leizu fingering in the colorway Al Fresco and one skein in the colorway Bisous for the fringe.
