Description: Hadleigh Cardigan- P215

Skill Level: Intermediate

This cardigan is worked from the top down. The top section is worked in stocking stitch, the bottom section has a delicate shell pattern. Sleeves also have the shell pattern at the cuff. This has been graded as suitable for the Intermediate knitter. Would make a great little cardigan for any season.

SIZES
A -- 0-6 months, B -- 6-12 months, C -- 2-3 years, D -- 4-5 years

YARN REQUIREMENTS
Yarn = Bellissimo 100% Extra-fine 8ply DK yarn – Colour Beige - 125 m / 137 yds per 50 gram ball was used for the pictured garment, however any 8ply, DK yarn with a tight twist would work well as long as you achieve the same gauge as per pattern.

A -- 110 g -- 275 m -- 300 yd
B -- 130 g -- 325 m -- 355 yd
C -- 165 g -- 415 m -- 450 yd
D -- 205 g -- 515 m -- 560 yd

NEEDLES REQUIRED
3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) circulars or extra long straight needles.
One set of 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) double pointed needles for the sleeves.

OTHER MATERIALS
Stitch holders
4 : 4 : 5 : 5] x Buttons -- 2 cm (¾ in)

TENSION
Gauge/tension 22 sts / 30 rows = 10 cm (4 in) using 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles worked in stocking stitch.
