In summer 2018 I went on a hike in South-Greenland, that was an amazing experience. I will never forget the contrasts in nature that are stunning, including sea ice on turquoise-blue ocean. The inspiration for the mittens came from this trip.

Color A: 1 white (0051)
Color B: 1 glacier blue heather (1404) or 1 lagoon heather (9423)

Sizing & Measurements
One size. Finished circumference 19 cm, finished length 27 cm.

Notes
The mittens are knitted in the round. It begins with a cuff, followed by the chart pattern. In round 13, you mark for a thumb by knitting sts to scrap yarn that are removed later (for the thumb). When the main part of the mitten is finished, you knit the thumb. The mittens are rather tightly knit, to make them warm.
