Gygrid’s strikkasokker er en enkel men pyntelig sokk som ikke krever for mange avanserte teknikker. Mønsteret er lett å huske og kan derfor nesten gå for en såkalt “vanilla” sokk.

Mønsteret kommer i tre størrelser, noe som burde passe de fleste voksne føtter. Skulle de allikavel bli for store eller for små, anbefales det å gå enten opp eller ned en pinnestørrelse, men de er ment til å sitte godt og fast på foten uten for mye ekstra rom. Det er alltid viktig å strikke sokker lange nok, men denne typen sokker kan godt være en anelse for trang på bredden når de strikkes.

Ett 100g nøste holder lenge til disse sokkene og om du bruker kontrast hæl, tå og vrangbord kan du slippe unna med ett 50g nøste.

Hagrid’s knitted socks is a simple yet elegant sock pattern that doesn’t demand too many complicated techniques. The pattern is easy to remember and could almost fall as a vanilla sock.

The pattern comes in three different sizes which should fit most adult feet. If they should end up being too small or too big, then simple go down or up a needle size, but they are ment to sit rather tight on the foot.
Knitting your socks long enough is always important, but this type of socks should sit a bit tight around the width of the feet.

One skein of 100g will be more than enough for these, and if you’re using a contrasting colour for the heel, toe and cuff then you should get by with a 50g skein.
