Even if you have never made hairpin lace before, you can make this lacey scarf following the video and written instructions. The scarf uses less than one ball of each of the main yarns plus one ball of novelty yarn.

You need a hairpin loom that are available in many wool and craft shops. There are many different kinds but all work fine.
