We’ve combined two shades of soft, shiny Shimmer for this easy-to-wear vest. Pattern is written for a wide range of sizes using the hairpin lace technique. See our (youtube) video to learn how, or as a refresher.

Other tools and supplies needed:

Susan Bates® Adjustable Hairpin Lace Loom set to 4” (10 cm)

Sewing needle and matching thread, one 11⁄8” (28 mm) shank button, yarn needle.

Skill level: Intermediate.

GAUGE:

One strip with edging (before assembly) measures 5½ (5½, 5½, 5½, 6, 6)” (14 (14, 14, 14, 15, 15) cm) wide; 16 rows = 4” (10 cm) in single crochet; 12 sts = 4” in double crochet.

Directions are written for size Small with changes for sizes Medium, Large, X-Large, XX-Large, and XXX-Large in parentheses.
