The MARYLAND crochet bag is made from 8 Granny Squares combined with a striped center panel and a crocheted shoulder strap. The original version uses four coordinating shades, but the design is perfect for creating your own color combination from yarn already in your stash.

The finished bag measures approximately 18 × 28 cm (7 × 11 in) and uses only about 110 g / 280 m (306 yds) of yarn.
