Half Bobble Stitch
Today I’m sharing a quick and simple stitch tutorial with you: the Half Bobble Stitch!
This stitch adds beautiful texture to your crochet projects without being overly complicated, making it perfect for both beginners and those looking to expand their stitch collection.
The half bobble stitch is a one-sided textured stitch, meaning the bobbles pop out on one side, creating a lovely tactile surface!
It’s also a solid stitch, which means it creates a dense fabric, perfect for warmth and structure.
Plus, it has a simple 2-row repeat, making it easy to remember and work up once you get the hang of it.
You can easily change colors after every two rows to create a fun, striped effect with your bobbles! This stitch works beautifully in multiples of 2, so it’s super adaptable for various projects.
You’ll find the bobble stitch featured in some of my favorite designs, like the adorable Liam the Lamb Baby Lovey. The difference between the two stitches is that the half bobble stitch uses less yarn.
This is why I’m so excited to guide you through learning this stitch! It creates a wonderful, textured fabric that’s just perfect for so many different projects.
