The Halifax Beanie is a cozy, multi-textured, split brim hat with braided ties. A large pom pom adorns the back. This fun knit uses only one skein of yarn and can easily be made in one evening.

Finished Measurements

Circumference at brim band 19” (48 cm) unstretched, 9.5” (24 cm) in length from brim edge to crown; will fit head circumference of 20” to 23” (50.5 to 58 cm).

90 yds (82 m) super bulky weight #6 yarn (shown knitted in Blackstone, Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, 80% acrylic, 20% wool, 87 yds/80 m per skein). Yardage includes yarn needed for pom pom.
