This is a pattern for a triangular shetland lace shawl.

Techniques you will need:

  • provisional cast on
  • yarn over for increasing
  • decreasing (knit 2 together, slip-knit-pull, slip-k2tog-pull)
  • garter stitch
  • blocking/steaming
  • flexible CO/BO

Knitting from inside out, joining as you knit. Only two ends to wave in.

Suggested yarn: cobweb weight animal fiber. I used NM 32/2 100% merino, and 2 mm needles (US 0).

I hope you will enjoy it as I did. The knitting as well as the wearing.
