Easy to crochet, those who make Halloween Bats are advised to hang the bats from their ceilings, doorframes, and windowsills to achieve optimal fright-factor. The wings are held stiff by a pipe cleaner, which gives these bats their iconic in-flight look. Since the bat is made in three pieces (one round body and two wings), you can move the wings around on each bat to make it unique!

These fun little guys make great Halloween party favors. Hang them up and tell your guests to untie the one they want, they’re sure to be a hit!
