All components are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. The knitting skills required are the basic knit and purl, however, take care when you are assembling the body parts. The project calls for small amounts of DK (8-ply) and 4-ply (fingering) weight yarn. Feel free to use your stash. The tension is not essential.
The crochet hook is for making chains. You do not need to know crochet techniques.
