Quick & easy pattern to crochet a flat pumpkin face. Can be used as a hanging decoration or added as an applique embellishment to any Halloween craft project.

Finished size using DK yarn is approx 10-11 cm wide by 8-9 cm tall.

You can use any weight yarn. It will just produce a different size pumpkin. I would suggest using a slightly smaller hook size than standard for your yarn weight e.g. try a 4.5mm hook for Aran or worsted weight.

Acrylic works well as it is sturdy. Cotton should give a nice result too. Any yarn oddments will do.
