This project works well as a stash-buster. It requires only small amounts of yarn, making it a practical way to use up leftover yarn scraps or leftover sock yarn. The original pumpkins in the photos are knitted from YarnArt Jeans, but any preferred yarn of a similar weight will work perfectly.

SIZES
• 1.2” (3 cm) tall (excl. stem), 2.4” (6 cm) in diameter. The final size depends on your yarn choice and individual knitting tension.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
• Yarn weight: Sport / Fine / 4-ply
• Total yarn used for one pumpkin: Approx. 28 yards (8 g).

• Pumpkin : Shades of orange, yellow, white, gray, beige, or brown
• Stem: Shades of white, gray, brown, or green.

MATERIALS & NEEDLES

• Knitting needles: US 1 (2.25 mm) straight needles. To ensure a dense fabric where stuffing does not show, use needles 1–2 sizes smaller than suggested on your yarn label.
