Notes: This is a drop shoulder pattern. The cast on is the back of the neck and increases are made along the shoulders that will go from the back of the neck to your mid shoulder blade. Then the shoulders are picked up before joining the front together and then joining the body once armhole depth is achieved. Lastly, the body, sleeves and collar are finished! See construction schematic on next page.
Also, with the elasticity of this stitch pattern, keep in mind the way you want the final product to fit. Testers had noted they used more/less yardage than the pattern suggested. The yardage provided is on the generous side of what feedback was provided.
Step into Rohan’s Golden Halls of Edoras with this top. Feel like you’re walking among the columns preparing to ride to Gondor’s aide in this broken rib top. Add sleeves for extra protections against your armor and the winds, or keep it a vest or tee to allow ease of movement when grabbing Merry to ride off into battle.
