This cardigan is knitted from the bottom up and has an all over structure pattern. You knit the body in one piece back and forth until you reach the underarm, where you divide the work in back and fronts. The sleeves are knitted in the round until you reach the underarm sleeve length. Thereafter, you continue to work the sleeves and body in one piece by using the simultaneous set-in sleeve method.

The cardigan can be knit short or long. Besides the length, the difference between the models is the hem; the short model has a tight hem and the long model a straight hem.
