You can knit the Hamlet mitten in men’s or women’s sizes.
Both sizes are knitted according to the same chart.
To knit the mittens in men’s sizes, you use a thicker yarn and thicker needles, and for the women’s mittens you use a thinner yarn and smaller needles.

Small (women’s size): circumference 22 cm.
Length from thumb gusset to the top 13 cm. Whole length 26 cm.
Gauge size small: 26 stitches x 27 rounds = 10 x 10 cm in colour-work with 3 mm needles, or the needles you need to get the right gauge. 2,5 mm needles for the cuff.

Medium (women’s size): circumference 23,5 cm.
Length from thumb gusset to the top 14 cm. Whole length 27 cm
Gauge size medium: 24 stitches x 25 rounds = 10 x 10 cm in colour-work with 3,5 mm needles, or the needles you need to get the right gauge. 2,5 mm needles for the cuff.

Yarn: sport, about 300m / 100g.

Suggested yarn for size small and medium: Järbo svensk ull 2-ply, Kampes 2-ply, Ullcentrum Öland 2-ply, Istex Fjallalopi
For size medium you will need about 50 grams of colour A and about 35 grams of colour B.

Large (men’s size): circumference 25 cm. Length from thumb gusset to the top 16 cm.
Whole length 30 cm

Gauge: 22 stitches x 23 rounds = 10 x 10 cm in colour-work with 3,5 mm needles, or the needles you need to get the right gauge. 3 mm needles for the cuff.
You can adjust the size by knitting at a slightly tighter or looser gauge.
Yarn: DK,/Aran yarn: about 200m / 100g.

Suggested yarn for size large: Järbo svensk ull 3-ply, Kampes 3-ply, Ullcentrum Öland 3-ply, Istex Lettlopi
For size large you will need about 65 grams of colour A and about 50 grams of colour B.
