Lightweight. Relaxed. Perfect for warm weather.

This sweater is machine-knit in pieces with hand-finished details. Don’t have a knitting machine? No problem! Full hand-knitting instructions are included. Follow the section for your preferred method.

This FREE pattern is One Size only and is best suited for actual chest circumference 32” to 42” (XS to L). If you’re looking for similar patterns featuring a full size range (XS to 5X), check my other designs.

Hana is knit flat from the bottom up. First, folded hems are created with a provisional cast on and the body is worked toward shoulders that are shaped with short rows. Sleeves also have a matching folded hem and simple shaping. Pieces are seamed together.

The yarn is a lace weight yarn; details about the yarn are lacking since it was a thrift store find - use a yarn of similar weight and check your gauge.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate.
