I designed this poppy brooch in remembrance of my Nan who taught me to knit. It iss also listed as a pattern design on my website www.twigsknits.com for Remembrance Sunday 2011.

The pattern is a download for personal use, if used for sale please give a donation to the Royal British Legion, thank you. My website shows two poppy brooches. The poppy brooch that is more floppy in appearance uses the same pattern, only knitted in all garter stitch not stocking stitch. There are also two available poppy sizes on the pattern.

The yarn used is just an example, other yarns in the same weight would also work.
