This is a great little bag to hang on your spinning wheel, use for small gifts, or even as a sewing kit (that was the original use of a ‘ditty bag’.)

When teaching spinning, my students create about 20 or so yards of wonderful thick and thin 2 ply bulky/super bulky yarn. So, I created this pattern just for that mini skein of bulky yarn.

This pattern is used to teach knitting in the round with Magic loop.
Skills: cast on, join in the round, knit, purl, knit 2 together, and yarn over

Yarn: handspun bulky or super bulky
Needles: 8 or 9 circulars (size to fit yarn)
Gauge is not important
