I get a lot of questions about what you can create with my handspun yarns. These fingerless cuffs are the perfect accessory to use handspun yarn for! The more textured, the more thick and thin the yarn is…the more fun these cuffs turn out. You can also use this as a stash buster project and add in all those small amounts of handspun you have laying around! This is a pretty simple pattern that is meant to show off the yarn. You’re going to get tons of compliments on these!

These are worked in the round. I prefer using double pointed needles, but feel free to use your favorite working in the round method. Since most of my handspun yarns are thick and thin, the actual gauge is just an estimate. I suggest you try on the ribbed cuff to make sure it’s comfortable for your wrist before starting on the body. If it’s too tight, either go up a needle size or cast on a few more stitches. If it’s too loose, either go down a needle size or remove a few stitches from the cast on. I also suggest trying them on before adding the thumbhole and before binding off. This is a very easy pattern to adjust to fit you.

Yarn: This pair uses GWAH-spun yarn in a thick and thin worsted weight. Worsted to bulky weight is what I normally use.

Yardage: This pair took about 70 yards. Yardage will vary depending on what yarn you use.

Gauge: This pair is 4 stitches per inch
