Like cherry blossoms falling from the trees, Haneka is delicate and light. The kanji for the word Haneka itself (羽華) incorporates the characters for “feather” and “flower” and imparts thoughts of springtime and summer breezes. The center panel of flowery lace is a lovely contrast to the textured wings.

With its long wingspan and shallow depth, Haneka can be draped over your shoulders or wrapped around your neck. It’s the perfect complement to a spring or summer day.

This pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit.
