Pattern description from Son of Stitch ‘n Bitch: “A close friend of mine had recently started working on his Ph.D., and joked that grad school was about learning how to do research and drink heavily. He then asked me if I could knit him a bottle of his favorite whiskey. My mission became to make him the cuddliest bottle of booze I could muster. These pillows, made of thick chenille-like yarn and a wool/acrylic blend, just might be the hair of the dog that a student needs after a night of too much ‘research,’ and they’re just the right size to be tossed on the couch or the bed. I’ve included patterns modeled after brands of Irish whiskey and American beer, but feel free to alter the colors for your recipient’s drink of choice. They’re the ultimate in decor for any frat house.”
