Hannah was designed for my brother’s girlfriend. After their half year spend in South Africa they brought back this yarn and she wanted something to remember the experience by.

I designed the scarf to be seen from both sides and big enough to wrap multiple times around your neck to prevent any cold from seeping through.

The dimensions of the scarf are easily adjusted by using a different yarn thickness. Do make sure to swatch and calculate your cast on stitches if you are doing so! When using a different yarn thickness be aware to use a different needle size as well, one that creates the flowy fabric you want.

I do recommend using a 100% wool for this scarf instead of the Alpaca mix I used, as the stitch pattern will be much better defined.

Happy knitting!

For a good sized scarf (like I know we all secretly desire) I would recommend using between 300 and 400 grams of yarn, depending on the thickness you are using.
