Here’s a pattern for a cute and colorful Hanukkah Menorah to make as a magnet or appliqué. It’s fun to crochet and can be made in a night or two. It measures about 7.5” tall, including the flames, and about 6” across the top. You will want to make at least one for your own holiday décor and several to give as gifts.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
G Crochet Hook for Magnet (see note on gauge)
Worsted Weight Yarn in 6 colors. I used Red Heart Super Saver in the following colors and approximate amounts: Light Sage, 1 yard; Lavender,2 yards; Real Teal, 3 yards; Burgundy, 4 yards; Blue Suede, 8 yards; and Gold, 3 yards
Flexible magnet backing (Magnet)
Craft Glue (Magnet)
Stitch markers (optional)
Tapestry Needle to weave in ends.

SKILL LEVEL: EASY – some experience helpful. I think my instructions are pretty clear, however, I am always happy to help my pattern customers if there are any questions.

GAUGE: Gauge is not important for this project. 7 stitches and about 4 rows in HDC measure about 2“. Your gauge may differ and you may want to adjust your hook size depending on how you crochet and whether you use a different type of yarn.

STITCHES USED:
Chain stitch (CH)
Slip Stitch (SS)
Single Crochet (SC)
Half Double Crochet (HDC)
Special Stitch – Cluster: (YO, pull up a loop) 2 times. 5 loops on hook. YO and pull through all 5 loops on the hook. SS through the stitch just made to form a point.
