This cowl was knit to match the Happiness in Threes Mitts. It follows the same cable pattern and, as with the mitts, it is meant to be easy for a beginner to follow. Because the mitts were so yummy for the hands, it seemed fitting to make something equally toasty and soft to go around the neck! This cowl is fun to knit in different lengths and types of yarn. In various lengths, especially as an infinity cowl, it makes a stylish addition to an outfit. Trying different types of yarn, such as variegated versus a solid color, keeps the knitter engaged and excited to see the outcome. It also keeps the wearer warm and cozy!

This cowl is knit back and forth; the cast-on and bind-off edges are seamed together.

The provisional cast on method is recommended, but not necessary for this pattern.
