The design of this cushion cover is similar to my Happy Circles wall hangings. Here, too, I experimented with random colour placement. This time I only used five colours in different shades of green and blue-green.

The cushion cover is designed for a 50 x 50 cm (20 x 20 in) cushion. The cover itself measures about 46 cm (18 x 18 in) to achieve a nice, bulky look.

The front side of the cushion cover is made up of 16 different squares, arranged in a 4 x 4 layout. Each square measures approximately 10 x 10 cm (4 in). After being joined, they are framed with a small border to reach the desired size.

I opted for a plain square design for the back. The design is mainly kept in one colour and is only interrupted here and there by a coloured stripe.

The pattern is beginner friendly and great to use up some leftovers.

In total, I used about 250 g / 750 m of yarn. I mainly worked with a 3.75 mm hook and used a 4.5 mm hook for joining. But of course you should use a hook that matches your yarn and your tension.

Stitches used are: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet and slip stich.

Have fun!
