The Happy Granny crochet ankle socks are designed to bring a smile to your face! Their toe-up, afterthought heel construction makes them a portable project you can try on as you go. The delightful addition of a small granny square on the back of the leg is meant to signal your presence in any space where another crocheter might spot it and come say hello!

Simple stitches and a gorgeous color-changing yarn make this a very quick project to complete.

Pattern for Gauge:
Ch 20
Row 1. 2 sc in second ch from hook, skip next, 2 sc in next, repeat from across, turn.
Row 2. Ch 1, skip first st, 2 sc in next, skip next, 2 sc in next, repeat from across, turn.
Rows 2-15. Repeat Row 2.
After the last row, fasten off. Block lightly.

Measure a 2” square in the center of your swatch.
Adjust hook size accordingly.
