Christmas is such a stressful time, nobody wants to deal with complicated socks here. So have fun, relax and enjoy an easy to memorise, engaging texture pattern with just a bit of colourwork.

There is also a matching wrist warmer pattern to go along with these socks.

Yarn:
Any fingering weight sock yarn in three colours will work well.
approx. 50g of MC yarn (grey)
approx. 30g of CC1 yarn (green)
approx. 2g of CC2 yarn (red)

The pattern is written for knitting on a set of five DPNs, but can easily be adjusted to your favourite style of knitting socks.

Gauge:
36 stitches/10cm in stockinette on smaller needles

This will result in a very dense fabric. If you have knit socks before, feel free to adjust the gauge. The four sizes use 60, 66, 72 and 78 stitches in the texture part, so choose your size based on that number and your preferred stitch count for vanilla socks.

Size:
Sizes S (M, L, XL) with a stitch count of 60 (66, 72, 78) in the texture part. The foot circumference at the suggested gauge is 16,5cm (18,25cm, 20cm, 21,5cm). Length can easily adjusted in the texture part.
