Just in time for Hanukkah, here is a smaller cousin to my large plush dreidel patterns. 8 page PDF. This fun size holiday plushie is crocheted in colorful worsted weight yarn, stuffed with fiber-fill, and measures about 8” tall (not including the handle which is about 1.5” tall), about 4.5” wide across each square, and about 19” around in diameter (at the fullest part). Measurements will vary with your gauge and stuffing. Blue, with Ivory, Gold, Green and Red accents. This works up quickly and is fun to make with a variety of stitches and shapes. It’s a great fun decoration for your home or to give as a gift! (Coffee Cup and wooden toy dreidel in photo are shown for size comparison.)

Materials

Red Heart Super Saver Yarn: Light Periwinkle (Blue) about 100 yds; Aran (Ivory) 40 yds; Gold 16 yds; Tea Leaf (Green) 10 yds; Cherry Red (Red) 4 yds.

G Hook
Large Tapestry Needle
Fiber Fill – 20 oz bag
Stitch markers (optional)
Yarn pins (optional)

Skill Level – Intermediate. Shaping and joining experience helpful.

Gauge - Gauge is not important for this project. In Single Crochet, about 7 stitches and 7 rows equal 2”. The center square measures about 2” by 2” after Round 4. Red Heart Super Saver is a little heavier than most worsted yarns, so if you use a different yarn, your work may come out a little smaller unless you adjust your hook size.
