The Happy Stripes Cardigan is a size-inclusive, beginner-friendly crochet pattern. It primarily uses single crochet, and has an oversized fit with 4-6 inches of positive ease. If you would like a very oversized fit, I recommend you size up.

This pattern has been tech edited and pattern tested!

Pattern has been graded using CYC Standard Measurements.

Sizes include XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) with a finished bust size of 34 (38, 42, 46, 50) (54, 58, 62, 66)“.

You will need 3 (3, 4, 4, 5)(5, 6, 6, 7) balls of Lion Brand Comfy Cotton for sizes XS (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) or 1050 (1170, 1300, 1500, 1720) (1860, 2100, 2350, 2500) yards of similar yarn that matches gauge - denoted as Color A in pattern. You will also need about 15 yards of 3 different category 3 yarns for the elbow stripes. I used Lion Brand Truboo in Aqua, Yellow, & Hot Pink

The gauge is 18 sc + 24 rows = about 5 in. (12.5 cm) with a 5.5mm crochet hook.

Model is wearing the cardigan with 6 inches of positive ease.
