Inspired by weatherworn boards along a dock and fishermen’s netting, Harborside gently nods to its inspiration with garter ridges and mesh. It features a central garter triangle flanked with traveling eyelets - a triangle within a triangle. Simple and soothing, this piece also features an unusual center-out construction, casting on at the center and decreasing to each tip.

PATTERN NOTES
This shawl is knit in two halves, beginning with a crochet provisional cast-on at the center. You begin with one wing, decreasing to the tip, and bind off. Then, unravel the provisional cast-on and decrease the opposite wing to the tip. This creates decreases which flow in opposite directions, mirroring each other.
