I love this pattern so much, and I put a lot of effort into it to make it as easy to understand as possible. I have included pictures that will help guide you through the more complex portions of the pattern, and I have written out the instructions line-by-line. The pattern also includes several tips on how to make the hat tighter or looser depending on your head circumference. For reference, the hat is designed to fit an adult head with 22-24 inch circumference. Matching gauge is critical to ensure a proper final fit, so please don’t skip the gauge swatch!

This pattern works up very quick and can be made in an afternoon if you have a few hours to sit and work on it. Note that to complete the pattern, you will need to have a plastic brim insert of a specific size. The pattern includes information on where to get brim inserts that will work.
