Harlequin is a versatile model. You can work it as a mini dress as on the photo or you can leave out the dark border on the bottom. In that case you have a fancy sweater with a pointed border in the front and in the back part. If such a shape doesn’t appeal to you work out a straight border.
We will sew only the sleeves together. The sleeves are quite spacious and should fit everybody. By leaving the sides of the front and back piece open we achieve a super fit! Nothing will sit too tight over round behinds and by slightly lifting the rear part when you sit down the knitting will stay in shape.
The model looks nice together with trousers, even narrow skirts or leggings. If you are blessed with pretty and slender legs you can show them directly, I have seen it, it looks sensational! If you want to do so it might be advisable to close front and back down to the hip.
I am well aware that I have chosen strong colors. This is always a nice effect especially on photos. I am sure you have enough fantasy to imagine the piece in other combinations, for instance with less colors, tone in tone, with pastels, whatsoever!

Harlequin ist ein sehr variables Modell. Du kannst es als Minikleid arbeiten wie auf dem Foto, du kannst den unteren dunklen Rand aber auch weglassen, dann hast du einen aparten Pullover, der vorn und hinten spitz zuläuft. Wenn dir diese Form nicht gefällt, kannst du sie so verändern, daß auch Vorder- und Rückenteil gerade sind.
Nur die Ärmelnähte werden geschlossen – der Armausschnitt ist sehr großzügig bemessen und sollte jedem passen. Die Seitennähte von Vorder- und Rückenteil bleiben offen, was einen Supersitz garantiert! Nichts beult sich über hinteren Rundungen und betont diese, beim Sitzen kann man das Rückenteil leicht anheben, wodurch es in Form bleibt.
Das Modell sieht gut aus zur Hose, aber auch zur Leggings. Wer hübsche, schlanke Beine hat, kann die auch direkt zeigen, ich habe es gesehen, es sieht sensationell aus! Wer letzteres tun will, kann Vorder- und Rückenteil geringfügig bis über den Hüftansatz schließen.
Ich bin mir darüber im Klaren, daß ich eine starke Farben gewählt habe. Gerade auf Fotos macht sich das immer gut. Aber ich möchte euch auch ermutigen, dezentere Variationen zu probieren, weniger Farben, Ton in Ton, Pastelltöne, was auch immer!
