Harlow Flip
Join us for the 8th Annual DRK May KAL Challenge!! Find all the details here!
DETAILS
I’ve been wanting a brimmed Harlow for years, and I finally perfected it! Harlow Flip is totally reversible, with the brim matching the side it’s folded to thanks to syncopated brioche. Two hats for the price of one?? Sign me up! It is knit from the bottom up, in the round, using two color brioche.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
These are just approximations. Total yarn usage will depend on the yarn you use (fiber content, ply, etc.), your personal gauge, and any modifications you may make.
Worsted Weight in 2 colors - approx. 90 (103, 135, 148, 161) yds/82 (94, 123, 135, 147) m of each color
SUGGESTED YARN
To create easy interest and a knit that’s hard to put down, I turned to the color-changing hypnotism of Spincycle Yarn’s Dream State. I love how it effortlessly adds intrigue to any project! I used this as the contrast color in Sample 2 and both colors of Sample 1. For Sample 2, I chose to use Pishkun from the Farmer’s Daughters Fibers as a solid main color. I love the squish of this US-raised Rambouillet 2-ply yarn! It is woolly, warm, and rustic while still soft!
Sample 1:
Spincycle Yarns Dream State (70 g/150 yds/137 m)
MC - 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) skein/s Light Years (blues/mints multi)
CC - 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) skein/s Ghost Ranch (pink/navy/yellow multi)
Sample 2:
MC - The Farmer’s Daughter Fibers Pishkun (100 g/255 yds/233 m) - 1 skein Namoo (dark berry)
CC - Spincycle Yarns Dream State (70 g/150 yds/137 m) - 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) skein/s Shades of Earth (browns/blues/jewel tones multi)
