I love hand-painted yarn, but it can be challenging to find a pattern that will highlight the yarn without being consumed by it. Koigu has so many colorways that attract many fans in the fiber community, and this one got my attention front and center. It wasn’t hard to realize that I was going to need some sort of pattern to break up the color variations. A twisted slipped stitch pattern, travelling down ribbed panels, helps to give the sock leg some stretch. The pattern also works quite well with the yarn, each one allowing the other to have the spotlight.
