The project starts out and ends with crochet, with knit in the middle. Because of switching between Crochet and Knit, the skill level is listed as intermediate. However, the complexity of the different crafts are simple.

This is a quick project. I made this piece for a final job interview (I did get the job). It can also be donated to nursing homes or hospitals.

The top crochet section starts at the bottom and works to the top of the piece. When casting on for knitting, start at the initial chain to pick up stitches, and then work towards the bottom of the piece. When working the swatch, you will find my stitch is loose.

Materials:
• Never Cast Off Yarn (Michigan Merino 3 Ply Worsted, 230 yards / 210 meters per 4 oz / 113 g skein), 4 skeins: 1 skein of Raspberry, 1 skein of Raspberry Cream, and 2 skeins of Cream. Sample used approximately Raspberry 110 yards / 100 meters, Raspberry and Cream 220 yards, 200 meters, Cream 420 yards / 385 meters
• 22 markers
• J & M crochet hooks
• 13 knitting needles (larger needle for cast on) (30 inch circular)
• Shawl Pin (closure), or optional button
