This is a triangular shawl which is part of my Time-Turner collection which will be shortly released as a complete ebook.

The shawl can be worn in various ways. Knitted in a lightweight fingering yarn it is perfect for those cool spring days. The center of this shawl is a necklace with the time-turner.

Yarn: Knit Picks Hawthorne Fingering, by Knit Picks, Fingering/4 ply, 80% Wool, 20% Nylon, 357 yards/100 grams, color: The Pearl, Sunnyside 1 skein; or any other fingering/sock weight yarn (1 skein approx. 360 yards)

Needles: Short (24 in) and long circular needles (32 in or larger), size US size 3 (3.25 mm)

Notions: cable needle (cn) – optional, tapestry needle for sewing in ends

Dimensions: length: 58 in (147 cm), wingspan: 32 in (81 cm), height 12 in (30 cm)
Notes:

  • This is a triangular scarf started on the bottom tip. Increases are first made on the outside and then after the cable pattern border. Later each side is knitted separately using short rows
  • If you want to make your shawl larger make sure you have a second skein. My size used up exactly 1 skein
  • I highly recommend to use this as a practice to do cable knitting without a cable needle. It is so much easier and faster. Follow this link for video tutorial how to do it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-6DB6WhAKvY
  • Instructions are provided in written and charted pattern and includes schematics
  • Read through the whole directions before you get started and decide which method works for you
