• Create a magic circle (or magic ring)

• Crocheting in a round

• Crocheting in rows

• Crocheting in back loops and front loops

• Decrease stitches (invisible decreasing is used for this project)

• Embroidering

• Increase stitches

• Sewing pieces together to form the doll

• Single crochet

• Slip stitch

Materials Needed for this Project:

• Size G/7 or 4.25mm Crochet Hook

• Size E/5 or 3.50mm Crochet Hook (for eyes, ears, saddle horns, stirrups, noseband, and reins)

• Yarn Needle

• Stitch Marker

• Scissors

• Polyester Fiberfill

• Stuffing Tool

• DK Lightweight yarn in Black for the eyes, eyebrows, and mouth

• Red Heart Super Saver Solids yarn—1 skein for each color
o Carrot for head, neck, body, legs, ears, and tail
o White for eyes and legs
o Black for nostrils and saddle strap
o Café Latte for saddle seat, saddle horns, and noseband
o Coffee for mane
o Orchid for stirrups on saddle
o Medium Purple for reins
