Hart Cowl
This is a perfect beginner project! Hart Cowl is a super simple cowl made from easy to work V-stitches. If you can make a granny square then you can make this!
The cowl is worked from side to side until all the yarn is used for a relaxed fit, or stop when the tube fits comfortably over your head when seamed for a more fitted cowl. Using a 6mm hook, this works up quickly and is a great gift idea.
Sample is made using Stylecraft Amor in Aran, which has 40% Superwash wool to give it a touch of luxury. The yarn has a subtle melange stripe effect and excellent meterage for an aran yarn so every ball goes a little bit further.
This pattern has been worked equally successfully using James C Brett Marble Chunky, but most heavier aran weight or chunky yarns would be a good substitution.
Pattern has been tech edited.
