YARN: Pearlescent Fingering - shown in 5-skein kit: Secrets of the Sakura. Choose any 5-skein Pearlescent Fingering kit or 5 skeins of any Fingering weight yarn you love. The pattern uses a total of 977 yards.

NEEDLES: 2 US Size 6 (4.0 mm) 32” circular needles or longer to accommodate the large number of sts, plus an additional needle to execute a three-needle bind off.

Notes From the Designer:

•“Harukaze” means “spring breeze” in Japanese.

•This poncho is meant to be slightly warm without adding too much weight, the perfect counter to those spring breezes that can still take your breath away.

•Short seams at the underarms prevent the front or back from flying over your head, while still allowing plenty of movement. You can also leave the sides open if you prefer a more traditional poncho look.

•Garter stripes add textural interest and prevent boredom. This makes a great piece for knitters of all skill levels!
