Needles
US #6 / 4 mm and US #8 / 5 mm
(or as required to meet gauge)

0-6 mo to XS: 24”- 32” circular needles, and DPNs* in each size.
S to 6XL: 40”+ circulars, and DPNs* in each size.

Alternatively you can use the magic loop technique to knit in the round using a single long circular needle.

Gauge
18 sts and 24 rows/ 4” in stockinette stitch on larger needles
