Harvest handbag and purse
Description
Harvest handbag and purse are a knitting pattern for these cool accessories. The pattern is available in English, Norwegian and Swedish language.

Shoulder bag and matching purse that fits perfectly as a roomy handbag
with space for a mobile phone, wallet, an iPad mini, a little umbrella, keys,
lipstick or whatever else you need to keep in your bag. It fits at the
market or on a shopping trip as a small shopping bag or project bag for
your knitting.
The small purse has plenty of room for keys, bank cards, knitting
accessories such as scissors and measuring tape or other small items.
Add in lining and zip if you like. There is no need for a lining and a zip if
you don’t want it. The bags structure and the recommended yarn makes it
quite stable, it does not stretch too much in use and the bag will therefore
keep its shape well even without lining, but to keep tiny things safe I’ll
recommend adding the lining and zip in the purse.

The pattern is written in a Nordic, traditional way, not row by row
explanation.
All measurements are in metric units.

Yarn: two strands of Scarlet by Permin held together.
Yarn amount:
Bag: 30x35 cm (finished and blocked) 250 g scarlet by permin 50g = 150
meters
Zipper 30 cm and possibly fabric for lining, if desired: 32 x72 cm
Purse: 14x14 cm (finished and blocked) 50 g scarlet by permin
Zipper 14 cm. Fabric for lining 16x30 cm

Needles: circular needle 4mm for the bag.
I strongly recommend metal needles for this project.

Gauge: 23m pattern structure knitted with two strands of suggested yarn = 10 cm
