A sweet little Harvest Mouse is October’s Free Pattern.

I don’t know why, but I always think of mice at this time of year? Maybe it’s all the seeds, nuts and berries that are in abundance in the hedgerows and my garden. Who knows!

My little mouse has a different shape to my other mouse patterns - a more hunched back and sitting position, and I love him. He sits on my windowsill waiting for some nuts, sometimes washing his whiskers…

And the feet?

Well, they’re created with wire and paper tape, quite effective, I think, and definitely something I’ll use again.

I don’t know about you, but sometimes knitted feet, especially tiny animal feet, can look a bit too clunky.
