This hat was inspired by my love of colour work and my mom’s love of anything red and orange. I was talking to her recently about a project she was working on and she said that she had ripped some back and changed the colours because there was too much orange she didn’t think that it was possible but it HAD happened.

This is part of the Harvest Weave set. It is more slip stitch colour work, and once you try this type of colour work you will want to make more.

When picking colours pick a solid that goes with the colour changing yarn but is not in the other yarn, if you do the pattern will fade out at some points (which is an interesting look, but if that’s not what you want I don’t want you to be surprised).

It also looks great with two solid colours.
